A data science engineer must perform exploratory analysis to uncover the underlying structure of the data, focusing in particular on the elements of interest specified in the specifications.
The engineer must address privacy concerns and only include data deemed relevant and/or legally usable in their study. Deliverables include results, the methodology used, and must demonstrate that best practices have been followed.

Skills will be assessed based on the elements provided in the deliverable, which will be specified in advance to the engineering students.
