Students are able to, for any statically determinate system: • Calculate external mechanical actions from a torsor • Plot shear force and bending moment diagrams (cohesion torsor) • Calculate and represent normal and shear stresses • Calculate deformations and deflected shapes • Perform preliminary sizing (ULS and SLS)
