The objectives of this course are: To know how to conduct an evaluation in occupancy mode.

To be able to conduct an occupancy mode evaluation of buildings (assessment of energy performance and thermal comfort).

Prérequis

Programme

POST OCCUPANCY EVALUATION:

• Presentation of various POE methods.
• Case study on several existing buildings.

PRACTICAL WORK:

• Occupancy mode evaluation of a positive-energy building. Comfort questionnaires are completed by users. Concurrently, comfort conditions are measured in classrooms and offices.
• Monitoring of energy consumption and analysis of a positive-energy building by usage type.

The final grade includes:

• Continuous assessment
• POE lab work grade
