Programme

Thermal basics recap (thermal resistance, solar factor of opaque walls, solar factor of glazed walls) Regulations and labels applicable in the French overseas departments (DOM):

  • RT2ADOM;
  • The PERENE tool;
  • CERQUAL DOM certification;
  • ECODOM+ (French Guiana).

Various thermal labels in tropical environments:

  • In France: CERQUAL, Certivea, BBC Effinergie, the HQE approach;
  • Internationally: LEED, BREEAM, Green Star, NABERS, etc.;
  • Presentation of Green Building Councils;
  • Advantages and disadvantages of each label.

Modalités d'évaluation

1 case study grade. Assessment is based on case studies focusing on the analysis of a building’s compliance with various labels (PERENE/RT2ADOM/LEED or others). The required deliverable is an analysis report, supplemented by an oral presentation in English or French.
