This project is an opportunity to assess the acquisition of the various knowledge and skills acquired throughout the domain related to building design in a tropical environment.

Acquis d'apprentissage visés

To be able to work in a team and collaborate with architecture students on a design project (building or district).

Prérequis

Heat transfer, Fluid mechanics, Thermodynamics, Software tools in energy simulation 1.

Programme

Course plan: Presentation of the project programme developed in partnership ESIROI/ENSAM

Division into subgroups (depending on numbers) and consideration of different aspects:

  • Building orientation and urban forms in relation to climate and urban constraints (taking into account the context: PLU, topography, landscape);
  • Optimisation of forms with consideration for urban aerodynamics;
  • Optimisation of the building envelope (solar protection, cross-ventilation, natural lighting, resource management, maintenance);
  • Economic and social impact of the built environment;
  • Enhancement of local, natural and human resources;
  • Consideration of architectural and urban data within the framework of an Engineer/Architect teamwork.
  • Final submission on the
