Prérequis
- CEFR Level B1.2
- Can understand the essential content of concrete or abstract topics in a complex text, including a technical discussion in their field of study.
- Can communicate with a degree of spontaneity and fluency such that conversation with a native speaker involves no tension for either party.
- Can express oneself clearly and in detail on a wide range of subjects, give an opinion on a current topic and present the advantages and disadvantages of different possibilities.
Programme
- Comprehension of technical documents in the field of study, both written and oral.
- Writing a work placement report, level 1.
- Technical and professional presentations with slides, level 1.
- Grammatical correction – complex syntax, rhetorical tools, collocations and phrasal verbs.
- Linguistic varieties in English.
- Formal register level 2: consideration of language hierarchies.
Modalités d'évaluation
Internal assessment: Situational tasks on professional skills, at least 2 assessments per semester
External assessment: TOEIC (Semesters 8/9)
