Project 3 is an application dedicated to the supply chain management for sensitive dairy products. A focus will be made on the one hand on the insularity context by considering low accessibility issues, customs limitations and european standards; and on the other hand on food security constraints such as food defense and cold chain maintenance. This project will be performed in groups of students.

Prérequis

Notions of logistic system and supply chain management ; Notions of social responsibility of the organizations.

Programme

Over the courses, students will have to :

• Analyze the state of the art ;
• Consider the regulatory and

international context ;

• Propose flux analysis of the

activity ;

• Plan and test different

schedules with mathematical tools ;

• Determine lead time and plan

delivery dates

• Manage inventory

All along the project, students will benefit from tutoring and courses on:

• Contextualization of the dairy

product sector in the intertropical zone

• Logistics system and supply

chain

• Lean management tools
