This English-language course aims to develop pragmatic, sociocultural, and linguistic CEFR competencies in the four language skills through varied teaching methods in interactive lectures, tutorials, and practical sessions. Activities include listening and reading comprehension, written productions (essays, summaries, memos, internship reports), and oral productions (presentations, group projects, improvisations, discussions, and debates) to prepare students for professional English use while fostering critical thinking.

Prérequis
- CEFR Level B2.1
- Can understand the essential content of complex topics in a text, including technical discussions in their field.
- Can communicate with a degree of spontaneity and fluency such that conversation with a native speaker involves no tension for either party.
- Can express oneself clearly and in detail on a wide range of subjects, give an opinion on a current topic, and present the advantages and disadvantages of different options.
Programme
- Comprehension of written and spoken documents: scientific and technical documents, study of scientific publications
- Writing the internship report (Level 2)
- Technical and professional presentations with slides (Level 2)
- Grammar correction – argumentative structure, nuanced viewpoints
- Work on authentic accents (British / American English)
- Formal and scientific register: Level 3
Modalités d'évaluation
Internal assessment: Situational tasks on professional skills, at least 2 assessments per semester
External assessment: TOEIC (Semesters 8/9)
