Project 3 is an application dedicated to supply chain management for sensitive dairy products. A focus will be made, on the one hand, on the insularity context by considering low accessibility issues, customs limitations, and European standards; and, on the other hand, on food security constraints such as food defense and cold chain maintenance. This project will be performed in groups of students.
Prérequis
Basic knowledge of logistics systems and supply chain management; Basic knowledge of corporate social responsibility.
Programme
Over the courses, students will have to:
- Analyze the state of the art;
- Consider the regulatory and international context;
- Propose flux analysis of the activity;
- Plan and test different schedules with mathematical tools;
- Determine lead time and plan delivery dates;
- Manage inventory.
All along the project, students will benefit from tutoring and courses on:
- Contextualization of the dairy product sector in the intertropical zone;
- Logistics system and supply chain;
- Lean management tools.
